What is the Virtual Insulin Pump Expo?
The Virtual Insulin Pump Expo was held at the end of April 2022 and showcased a variety of insulin therapy options.
This recording is the compilation of four evenings spent with representatives and people who use insulin pumps and multiple daily injection therapy. They shared information and opinions on the various options including the Omnipod DASH, the tSlimX2, and YpsoPump insulin pumps.
Meet some of our presenters...
V. Renee Fagan, B.Sc, ADFS, MN, BN, RN, CDE, CPT is a Registered Nurse and Certified Diabetes Educator and is the Clinical and Training Specialist with Insulet Canada. Renee has lived with Type 1 diabetes for 38 years and has always had a connection within the diabetes community, being a strong advocate through fundraising, volunteer work, partnerships with local organizations and working with people living with diabetes and healthcare professionals in her current role.
Amath Kane is a Senior Territory manager at Tandem Diabetes Care . Amath has extensive knowledge of the insulin pump and CGM industry. He holds a master’s degree in science and has been working in the pump industry for 15 years. He has passion for diabetes and is dedicated to support and help the people living with Diabetes and always tries to make positively a difference.
